DAY 8-9: Plants were looking fine, didn't need to do much yet. Woke up on day 9 and was horrified when one of the plants was missing. No leaves, no root, no evidence. My guess is a bird decided the other plants in the garden weren't exotic enough. I put chicken wire around the remaining plants and yelled some obscenities at the local birds. Two plants to go, I decided not to germinate any more seeds. On the plus side, really sunny weather.

DAY 10-13 Much sunshine, leaves are pointed towards the sky, plants are green. Second set of leaves is noticeable now. Wondering how long before I should start giving them nutes.
