Introduction:
These are my essay notes on Cannabis and its potential for legalisation in terms of recreational use. I will be using this essay to deliver critical information to the year 12 students of my High school in Bellingen. We know that medical cannabis is already sweeping the country and making steady progress from clinical studies but what about cannabis for recreational use? In these notes, I will outline the current progress in terms of legalisation for recreational and complete medical use, benefits in terms of health & economics etc..

There is a flyer to print and spread around promoting the HEMP Party 2016 campaign. It has South Australian specific voting instruction for Group R on the senate ballot paper. Please print some flyers and share the website and facebook content. In a momentous move by all and sundry in this position, independents and ‘micro parties’ have come together (thanks go to M. Aldridge, Free Australia, the LDP and the HEMP SA crews for creating this space for all) in commonality over these draconian measures by our current policy makers/enforcers and a ‘plan of attack’ has been achieved.

One thing you got wrong imo is medical mj sweeping the country, i dont think it is, people think its all good to go but all of them would be shocked if u told em it isnt lega just yet for medical use and is quite a ways off being considered for anything but terminal illnesses unless they get bashed over the head with info ala kiddies and seizures from diabetes.

 

Could be just me, i cant understand why u cant check out legally and forgo agony before you die from a terminal illness its easier to have compassion on animals

In my uneducated opinion.... restricted medical trials have started in some states and in other states of Australia will commence in 2018. Recreational use will not be here for another 10-15 years, unless there is an ellection and the government is voted in due to an election promise of "VOTE FOR US AND WE WILL MAKE CANNABIS LEGAL". Even then, how many polleticians keep their word! For some strange reason, i think we will follow England and make it legal 1 year after they do. Iwas once proud of Australias advanced free and open thinking but now im ashamed. 35 years ago i smoked a joint in the crowd at the Sydney cricket ground during a test match!
