  1. We need to get the band back together for the Nimbin music fest... Tenacious Tunkers and the Roo Rider. Just like old times on the Plant of Destiny tour.
  2. Those big'uns will take forever to dry. Watch for mold and rot! But I suspect that if your last few harvests were in wet and humid weather you've got a handle on it. I thought my last harvest yielded some massive colas, and they were by any definition of the word, but yours have entered a whole new realm in size. We need a new adjective for the size of your colas. Massive just doesn't do them justice!
  3. I stand corrected. Must be why they named them QB NX 324. And at 108+ VDC I wonder what they're being driven by.
  4. All HLG Quantum boards use Samsung LM561C S6 bin chips. But not all quantum boards are HLG. The Alibaba suppliers are notorious for saying they're using the LM561C chip but deliver the LM561B+ which is visually very similar.
  5. GQ, is all of that hanging to dry from the one ginormous canna-tree?
  6. The Samsung F Series Gen3 double row strips are the bomb. https://cdn.samsung.com/led/file/resource/2017/11/Data_Sheet_F_Series_G3_Rev.1.0.pdf Check out the LEDGardener website for build ideas and plans. He's done a great job of laying it all out. I wish the info had been there when I started because I had to work it all out myself. He serves it all up on a platter nice and neat.
  7. COBs are old school. The strips do a better job and cost less, but you have to DIY. I pulled over 6lbs from three Sativas indoors using 3500K 80CRI strips and cobs.
  8. There are 8 Cree CXB3590s on the far left that you can't see, but I see what you mean! Yep, they're the FB24Bs in 3500K. I've got them dimmed down so the plants are seeing 800-900 μmol. The CXB3590 cobs have to be kept further away.
  9. They're looking so good, Tunkers. But swear to god, mate, ya gotta drop those lights down. I'm running mine about 6 to 8" off the tops. And yeah, I know I need to get in there and defol like a madman.
  10. Tunkers, that explains everything. GQ is just a normally awesome Australian woman who's sold her soul to the Garden Gnomes. Doesn't matter. I still worship her and her seven meter tall canna-trees.
  11. So true, evatil. Some say she's a fiction of our imaginations. A spectre in the garden, weaving her magic unseen except for when she's perched perilously high on the edge of a roof. Coaxing the max from each plant while still keeping up with the laundry. In short... a Grow Goddess. An Aussie woman extraordinaire. I am not worthy.
  12. Imma dob Tunkers for that one. Been here over a year keeping it lo-pro, but hadn't popped around for a while. Had to drop in and see how the Sals were shaping up.
  13. Any girl who can climb up to the gutters while nursing a hangover to hold up a massive canna-tree for pics is aces in my book.
  14. Oh hell yeah. I remember checking out where that little hottie from Gold Coast lives and the subtropical areas of Queensland called out to me. That's my kind of environment.
