  3. Feeling very grateful for my canna friends :)
  4. @zeuss yeah I know, but I really like the taste of the bowl at the beginning when it's fresh so I'm wasteful. After this discussion, I'm wondering if in fact my Q is on the way out.... I do recall that I used to get a burnt popcorn taste at lower temps. So have you gone away from the idea of bags, to the whip and water pipe? I use medical grade silicone tubing for my whip... I started purchasing it from Australian Vaporizers but have found you can buy the same stuff direct out of China much cheaper, which makes it easier on the pocket to replace more frequently.
  5. Yeah, they're a solid unit. I've been more than happy with it. My only complaint being the warm up time... hence leaving it on nearly 24/7 This after vaping at 230 degrees...
  6. Hey Zeuss, my lungs can't handle the particulate in the vapor... I actually found it really hard to convert from smoking to vaping because of that. The solution for me, was filtering the vapor. It's quite gratifying to see the micro particles that get filtered out... This is my old setup with a cheap ass water pipe off dhgate. And it worked very nicely, I even replaced the water pipe when I broke it a while back... But then one day, it occurred to me that the whip elbow was a standard ground glass joint that would fit in my other bong lol (A bigger and better cheap arse bong from dhgate lol) And I find that this one draws a lot easier. I don't understand the physics of that, but maybe a bigger bong is better. Maybe the whip length affects the difficulty of the draw as well?? Would love anyone to chime in that understands this shit. And I don't like bags... feel like a tard sucking out of one lol
  7. Hey Indy, That's really interesting... maybe the temperature on the Q's is not all that accurate?? Even at 230 degrees, I get no burnt plant matter... the AVB always tips out a light golden brown. My Q is several years old now though and I regularly leave it on for 14 hours a day or more so it's probably worn out
  8. Interesting zeuss... thanks for that info. Found the adapter on ebay for only $18 so I've ordered one to give it a try... I wonder how many times I'll burn my fingers without the silicone protection lol http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Glass-Adapter-18mm-F-Female-to-18mm-F-Female-Arizer-Extreme-Q-V-Tower-DDave-Mod-/142239313106?hash=item211e1facd2:g:oMoAAOSwux5YLPy5 on ebay On the subject of vaping temp... I use whip and water filter, not bags, but I always used to vape at 200 degrees. More recently, I've found if I start at 200 and crank it up to 220 or even 230 I get way more of a hit :D anyone else find that?
  9. Almost certainly the main, annual event on April 20th will be. I don't live in Melbourne so I don't keep up to date but they were actually having monthly picnics at Flagstaff Gardens, don't know if they still are. For a while though, increased police pressure, meant they were not condoning or allowing smoking at those events. Search on Facebook and you should find more about it. For some reason it was really hard to find anything about it through Google search even just prior to the event... weird huh? or maybe I'm just a paranoid conspiracy theorist lol You should check out the Hemp Health & Innovation Expo & Symposium being held in Melbourne 2nd and 3rd December 2017. I believe there's a thread or post on here somewhere about it.
  10. Happy CV Cobbs Oner
  11. What EC are your nutes at? I know you said half strength... looks underfed to me. I have no idea about the yellow mottling though. Hopefully someone with more experience than me will chime in.

  14. you weren't the only one with similar urges Lou! On Saturday.... Felt like Spring. Got my seed stash out. Looking for something to pop with a view to doing some light deprivation. Then checked the weather lol Except we're not expecting snow, just pretty cold weather and a couple frosts. Then I got into some temperature data history for my area and decided I need to restrain myself until at least the second week of September
  15. Nice job Goat Looks like a nice return for your experiment. Can you tell us how many daylight hours the plants had say around early June and now? Looks like they're in coco/perlite? what size pots are they?
