now you get me. i never wanted to pay moar than $300. i remember paying $300-330 for a 600w mag ballast, adjust-a-shade, 600w hps globe. . now thats around $150 delivered at right time of year on ebay, maybe even less . now we can pool our moneys and grab a 315w cmh kit for $200 delivered or an extra 50-100$ for a 630w cmh kit delivered

my outdoories in veg almost died outdoors in victoria. came close. in flower the tolerances seem to widen up a bit i find. lower temps are moar accepted by a flwoering plant rather than a small vegetating one.

i would say over watered. perhaps let her dry out a bit. do not spray her under hps. spray at lights off. light could be closer, maybe 60-80cm away. up to you

Exact same company , same brochure , same prices , all of it. Cheap Cheap. $120USD for a full fixture. i know its around $100 delivered for 2 units. little over $400 AUD and you should have 2 x 315w units on your doorstep. personally i like the look of the 630w dimmable w/ remote control....

its ok if its t5 cfl or mh ,if its hps, them water droplet on the leaves are like mini magnifying glasses. the hps red spectrum gets into those lil droplets, magnifies and burns your leaves leaving spots.

they used to say the 400watt cmh globes for the old 400w magnetic ballasts were up to par w/ a 600w hps in terms of yield for most but not all phenotypes. I looked at a 315w lamp as an annoying addition to the market. I have to buy new ballasts now to go w/. Before I had these 2 ballasts I could slam a couple hot 400w cmh's in. so if you divide 100 by 400 then multiply that by 315 , you are left w/ the percentage I thought a 315w was compared to a 600w for output. still good isn't it ? 100 / 400 * 315 = 78.75% 315w cmh I thought was 78.5% of the power of the 600w in terms of photons.. 315w cmh uses only 52.5% of the power-draw from the wall as the 600w does. best part is i look at a 630w cmh like its a 1000w hps he he

look alrite to me, theyre tiny atm. if you had those problems on bigger leaves later on, see about rectifying your deficiencies. For now, looks all good.
