  1. Hey I know this is a late response but HH has been a solid performer for me outdoors for a few years now and I'd rank her up there for disease resistance. She's like smoking valium I reckon hahaha. Love to hear how you find her?
  2. Looks like it to me too Otis. Very salvageable. Separate the mouldy bits from the good bits. Not sure how you dry yours but good airflow in a dry environment will help. If you have big dense buds you suspect are affected then breaking them up into smaller pieces will reduce the risk of it continuing on it's merry way during the drying & curing process. I deal with some mould every year but this year is a little worse imho. Best of luck.
  3. Hahaha what on earth are you talking about? I'm Kim. Haven't been on this lovely site for ages and ages.....you prompted my 1st message. How is your season going? We're having mega rain here atm so thank goodness the gals are under cover. Every season is a bitch/bastard I reckon....in their own way. Hope you're having a good one.
  4. Excited for you, hope it goes well. I'm years in and my learning continues aplenty. Just so you know, 2c from itchy is worth so much more. itchy, yet another awesome and generous response. My girls aren't usually prone to pests but this year I had a weird tiny sap sucking insect (not mite) invasion this season which did some damage. I've spent hours trying to id them. Will eventually post some pics. Time to think about my prep too...mycorrhizal fungi sound like a grand idea to add to the list.
  5. I'm down south and also early but the ladies have slowed in the last week with the temp drop esp at night. They're potentially only a week or so away though, especially if it stays warm and that's early. I have never harvested by choice in April, May and yonder.
  6. Just to clarify I meant mushroom trich heads drooping not buds.
  7. Hey Rick, yep agree with the advice about harvest and curing....the trichs on the sugar leaves are misleading. Few more weeks for a more balanced stone, especially with the weather cooling down, especially overnight. I always look for drooping heads as well, full of the good stuff!! Well done. Dunno know about anyone else but I haven't had the best outdoor season where I am....bloody farming hey?!?!
  8. Best wishes BB! Nice to see you back and so pumped. I ordered some seeds today including a few autos, exciting. My autos have never matured in 10 weeks, 14 weeks and longer is my experience, greenhouse/outdoor....I am in South Gippsland though. I plant end of December or start of January....they need optimum growing conditions during veg and we can still have cold temps in Dec. Beautiful looking chillis SNG and thanks for your enthusiastic wisdom. I'm off to learn more about green manure. Itchy, you're a legend. I've just done an initial soil prep and on your advice added some crab/crustacean meal (Dr Greenthumbs) among other things to the soil. Thanks for the tips about perlite etc, I need to make up an auto soil mix soon.
  9. Smart move Mungass, exactly why mine stay undercover for the last month or so. Interesting Wi-Fi...the Silver Haze was my first gal ready, then my Kush's and then all the others are coming along, they're are close too.
  10. Wow Zeuss that is crazy.....about 2-4 weeks down in Sth Vic I reckon. Whatever feels right Indycar
  11. Hey fellow farmers, anyone finding this an early finish this harvest? They did love the warmer weather this year, bless em! Hope everyone's having/had a great season!
  12. Beautiful trichome pic Wi-Fi....screensaver material! Evatil I'd love to hear more about your fish pond idea and how your set up goes? I feel a new topic coming on..... I know very little about hydro but couldn't imagine growing under lights, nature really does do it best imho.
