I really like the idea of growing weed but can't come to term with the risks involved, I know how badly it would affect my family, guessing someone would have a stroke or something in that realm. The money aspect is also a huge problem but maybe 5 years from now the research will be put to good use, hopefully by then it will be legal. Main reason I love doing research and seeing what people have to say is the personalities behind the screen, everyone is an individual and has something to offer in the way of creativity. Has anyone fiddled with a DIY deep water culture system? If so I'd love to see a link showing the system or TEK used. Years from now there will be some crazy advancements but the simple DWC bucket or tote is such a simple and effective idea, don't see it going away in the next 5 years I would imagine.

Went out driving with a mate (Early teens) and got caught WELL past midnight after some drinky poo's, skip to being pulled over by constable menopause low and behold her Breathalyzer was busted, didn't stop her from going all "WHAT IF A KID WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD" on me to which the obvious response is "At 2 in the morning?" dodged a bullet there as we had a bong and some ILLEGAL CONTRABAND in the back Haven't smoked any buds in ages now but either way I wouldn't worry about it, plenty of 420 erry' day people I used to hang with that get away with it on a beyond regular basis driving 4 hours + a day.

First I should mention this is specifically relating to indoor grow techniques and indoor equipment/media but feel free to give your input on outdoor if you so choose I planned years ago to start a grow and at the time was thinking a budget of $500-1000 would be interesting/fun to draw up but I planned on doing the lazy and uninformed Tek which was the classic default Ebay hydroponic setup, from what I've read most people recommended against that for obvious reasons but still fun to think what result you would get from such a kit. I stole this template from the grow diaries in hopes of making it easier for some people that wanna do a sort of short and sweet post without having to elaborate, no pressure but those willing to expand on their thoughts, opinions and trade secrets below the template explaining why they feel "X" method is best, I thank you in advance and appreciate it greatly! PREFERRED STRAIN/SEEDBANK/BREEDERS: GARDEN STYLE: GROWING MEDIUM/SOIL STRUCTURE: POT/CONTAINER SIZE: TENT or ROOM SIZE (Length X Depth X Height): LIGHTING & WATTAGE/BRAND: NUMBER OF PLANTS: TOTAL VEG TIME: TOTAL FLOWERING TIME: NUTRIENT/FEED MIX & FEEDING CYCLES: I've seen a LOT of conflicting information online regarding lights, carbon scrubbers, low odour strains and tents (all of which had very little evidence to back it up), however mostly toward combating FLIR camera's used by helicopters and drones, although I don't grow anything worth hiding I am deeply fascinated by the concept of beating out $600,000+ technology by implementing cheap and effective methods, that alone has motivated me to type this up. I've heard just recently, if I remember correctly, that some lights actually give off a radio like frequency that can be picked up relatively easily, that would be a fun topic to flesh out and I will begin doing a bit of research on that. Low odour strains is a finicky topic however all strains will smell if given the chance, especially if they yield a large amount but I did manage to find people giving alternatives and loop holes so to speak, many people swear by having plants that give off a loud or violent odour outside the grow or surrounding the house, many also swear by specific strains of weed that might smell unconventional or otherwise perplexing, some examples given were "Blue Mystic" , "Durban Poison" and "LowRyder" anyway I'm sure you get the point but that was also something I thought to be interesting and worth fleshing out if anyone wanted to speak on that topic, I know of plenty other methods but want to keep this to a minimum so that others can speak on them...also to prevent myself from rambling continually haha, I digress.

Can't remember where but I recall a bunch of people saying that buying equipment or kits online was a good way to get put on a list Whether it's true or not I don't know but there was an article about a uni student who was fascinated by the equipment they had at their disposal on campus and decided to order, if I remember correctly, a condenser coil so that he could play around with orange peels at home...two weeks later he got his door kicked in by some vermin that charged him with conspiracy to produce a dangerous drug or something like that. I know we're talking about two completely different things but the same rules apply...sort of.

If you don't mind me asking which sites have you found to have the best quality seeds and reliable shipping? (Located in QLD) Looking to get into growing some strains that smell very little or don't smell at all like cannabis and was recommended to try "Durban Poison" and "Northern Lights" which sounds great but after seeing how much they charge per seed was pretty disgusted at this point I won't even bother unless I know for sure they show up. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Also a new grower so not sure what to do in this situation

So i looked at my plant last night and one of the leafs was soft and the tip pointed up i wasn't worried until i came home and found that it had spread to another 4 of my leafs here are some pics: Also i haven't started using any nutes I have (Rose Focus by Growth Technology) and i use a 130W CFL 6400K with reflector and i also use the sun when it's out i also just added 5 ml to a 1.2 L bottle filled with tap water just to make sure because i haven't used any nutes yet

Might be a bit off topic but has anyone ever tried mixing a weed plant with a regular mint or spearmint plant? Not sure if it would work but the sounds of "Spearmint Haze" sure does sound nice
