  1. Ah alright, thanks So, horizontal or straight-aligned..?
  2. Aye, this was a rush-move job from the garage up into a bedroom, due to flooding/mold. There's no proper circulation/ventilation, just a very cold house and a scrubber blowing air out a door. It's all very professional here The room is 2.4 high.
  3. It's 3x3, but I'm only really using 3x2 ish
  4. Hey folks! I've been debating with myself over whether side by side lighting or straight aligned would give me more cover. Unfortunately, this was an afterthought Excuse the garden, it's a hodge-podge grow. Also considering taking off the lighting reflectors, pictured right under the bulb here: It does as it says it does, redirects light to the side parts, from directly under; but I'm not sure of it's effectiveness. Does anyone have experience with these? Peace!
  5. I've been in a very similar situation. I had huge temp issues with DWC through summer. I was packing ice bricks around my res, sitting ice bricks under the res, towels around my grow box. They worked to an extent, but it was just more work..and all of the proper solutions I found were expensive (air/water conditioners). I ended up just switching to coco..
  6. Bang on mate, and the gap in equity is only becoming larger. At worst, we need an overhaul of the Australian constitution and banking reform. I'm still convinced that currency needs to go completely, but we are not intellectually or technologically advanced enough to pull it of. We need near unlimited energy to start, Fusion energy would be a good start; however all resources should be free. Water, electricity and basic housing; we are the only animals on the planet that pay to live here! If you really are the coolest guy in Iceland, good on you. The Icelandic people have done amazing things, in terms of governmental reform, over the last 5 years. They peacefully protested for the resignation of the entire government, nationalised the bank, forced a referendum so the people could decide over the economy; had the parties responsible for their national bankruptcy INCARCERATED, including corporate bank-heads and members of government; then rewrote their own constitution. All done BY the people and it was barely touched, if at all, by mainstream media.
  7. The spin is dizzying in every sense of the word! Let's paint a slightly more clear picture of the distribution of wealth in the United States... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0ehzfQ4hAQ I highly recommend this video
  8. I would keep my DWC between 5.6 and 5.8, 5.5 is the min. If you're going away for 3 weeks, you could buy a reservoir and set up an auto watering system, or a bucket/pot flood and drain/ebb and flow system. There is an absolute boatload of information on the net about these set ups, between this site and google; you'll find plenty, and they're not that hard to build You mentioned you had a friend you could leave them with, a few res tops up and PH fixes in those 3 weeks would probably be fine. I'm not sure it would be worth switching the lighting to 12/12 for your autos if only 1 isn't flowering, which might be due to unstable genetics, or just a mislabeled seed. You would definitely normally switch to 12/12 if an auto wasn't flowering, but if the other 2(?) autos are, I would expect a decrease in final yield under a 12/12 rather than 18/6 or 20/4. Again, don't take my word for it, try and research Best of luck mate
  9. Love the root shots mate The leaves look like PH fluctuations or calcium def? Don't take my word for it though.
  10. I finally moved into some wide orchid pots in the table. I've lined the bottom of my pots with chux. They are blasting off in Way To Grow Coco (went through about 80 litres) taken a few days ago
  11. Quite a few of the clients I care for take AED's. Frizium is what I have encountered and administered the most and some side effects are not nice. From agitation, random bouts of severe nausea, unsteadyness on feet to sudden onset of severe melancholy and even muscular atrophy. We've lost a few guys just from seizures, but it was their hearts that gave out mid-way. I am ALL for the controlled use of cannabinoids in children if it is going to save lives and improve overall quality of life (basic functioning but there's the risk of acquiring a severe intellectual disability at any time). They should be assisted in doing this as safely as possible, NOT possibly socially and legally persecuted.
  12. Welcome mate Great community here and loads of information to be soaked in. The search tool can be quite of use.
  13. Surely! It's ridiculous overkill and doesn't make sense, otherwise. The police might not have been able to make it stick, and just got them on whatever they could.
  14. Can't wait for season 4! It should only be 3-4 months away. You know nothing Jon Snow
  15. "A University of Melbourne study found race exertion sees half of race horses bleed in the windpipe and 90% bleed deeper in the lungs. High-concentrate grain diets (rather than extended grazing) can lead to gastric ulcers. A study of racehorses at Randwick found 89% had stomach ulcers, and many of the horses had deep, bleeding ulcers within eight weeks of training commencement." http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/oct/31/melbourne-cup-horse-racing I'm looking to provoke some healthy discourse I personally find the en masse slaughter of any animal quite disturbing, particularly if it is a bi product of our entertainment. These animals are pushed past the limits of their bodies (by incessant whipping and scaring the shit out of them) and something gives; then they eat a bullet. The greyhound industry is no better; the cleaners the morning after can attest to the bodies of the perpetual slow runners.
