  1. Hey muncy How long those girls been flowering for? Looking like some nice bud. How long did you have them vegging for?
  2. My grow this year is from bagseed l, my medium is 30-40% vacumulite so that maybe why I can get away with fewer waterings as it holds water very well also giving the roots much needed oxygen. I'm feeding them a 2 part hydro nutes 17.5 ; 9.6 26.5. Once a week also feed them some cal-max. As far a yields go I'm not sure yet although still going to be veging for another 2 months before flowering, with a total of 5 months veg to maximize yeild. It's all a bit of trial and error really I'm no expert just love myself some green All the best with your grow and keep us updated P.s I'm going to try get my hands on some jack herer seeds for next yr, I was reading you can yeild up2 1200gms outdoors. I will be happy with 12 oz from my current 3 which will last me a yr of smoke Cheers
  3. Man I'm growing outdoors and my plants get watered once a week and fed once a week they don't need watering too often, the trick is to water In big volumes but less often Good luck
  4. Hrmmm more time to veg is good and bad, good that the harvest will be plentiful and bad because its so dry here atm would really love some holiday smoke. Guess patience is the key
  5. Yeah I went to bunnings and spent $300 on fence extensions that go pretty much around the whole yard, keeps the double story houses from seeing in. Damn people in their big houses looking into pplz backyards. Can't wait to go bush
  6. Haha yeah I bought a stationary cuboard on eBay for $120 which sits in my shed so when the outlaw comes and stays I can lock my babies away
  7. To be honest they look like there not getting enough light at 3 months they should be a little bushier I would of thought. Check out my grow (bagseed) 3 months old Using LST technique for the first time. Making it nice and bushy https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners.com/topic/58497-outdoor-vic/#entry381308
  8. I'm growing a cpl out in the suburbs in pots, the simple answer is LST, tie them girls down when they get to about a foot high also increasing yeild size plus it makes the plants pretty un recognizable. Win win
  9. Man that sucks I had 4 seedlings came home to find 3/4 had been eaten by birds? Or something maybe the dog? So I germinated 5 more seeds and ended up with 3 plants I'm total I'm sure at least 1 will be male, so germinate plenty expecting up harvest a few Check em out now, 2-3 months later. https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners.com/topic/58497-outdoor-vic/#entry381308
  10. Thanks for the kind words Yeah the sand is burring the gnats alive so far it seems to be pretty effective, the nutes are some I picked up from the local hydro store designed for a hydro setup, I have some fish emulation and some gogo juice which I will be alternating the hydro nutes with to keep it a bit more organic. Anybody know when they will naturally start flowering, feb/march?
  11. Hey all I thought I would share my first outdoor grow started back I'm sep/oct started from bagseed. Soil/perlite Soil ph 6.5 Feeding 17.5 ; 9.c2 ; 26.5 This is the first time using lst method which is acually a lot easier than I thought and not sure why I hadn't previously done it. Marijuana plants sure are hardy little plants. First one is 3 months old in 10 gal pot and have two 2 month old plants in 5 gal pots. Had a bout of bug problems which neem oil is helping keep it under wraps. Also had a problem with birds eating the bud sites which some netting seems to be doing its job. All this with the temprature fluctuations we have been having have made it all the more challenging, the joy I get out of it is totally worth it. Have a look at the pics and ill keep updating progress.
  12. Yeah sweet I might just wait till later in the year which will give me plenty of time to get some quality seeds, I wish I could start growing indoors again like I used too when living with mates, now living with my missus I don't think she will let it slide , shame really
  13. Hey all, I'm thinking about starting a small grow like 2-3 plants outdoors in Melbourne, is it too late to be thinking about this? Indoors is not really a option due to the whole set up and having parents come visit etc
