  1. Thanks for the replies, Here's a few photos to help diagnose the issue. From left to right its Purple #1 (doing just fine), CBD Critical Cure (doing OK, did flower but has since reverted and seem OK) and Strawberry Cough which is the problem child and has now gone to flower for the second time.....but once again looking at it today almost seems to be heading back to veg. They were started early September outdoors. I tried to look up the light hours online but couldn't find them. I naturally assumed this wouldn't be a problem and would result in bigger plants due to the days only getting longer. Now I'm wondering whether there was that required amount of light to keep them in Veg? Hit it with high N fert again just to try and get it to Veg, is definetely maxed out on nitrogen for the moment. Understand it's almost certainly going to hermi in which case she's going to have to be moved or killed.....get to that when it happens. For now can anyone shed any light on why this is happened and if there's anything I could possibly still do? Thanks again for the replies. Cheers Scraps
  2. Howdy all, This year one of my girls 'Strawberry Cough' has been causing a few headaches. For some reason it has now flowered twice already throughout the season. The first time was probably around a month ago but I decided to hit it with some high N ferts to encourage it back to veg, which seemed to do the trick. However in the last kind of 5 days or so I've noticed it go to flower again, it's driving me nuts. Interestingly enough though one of my other 3 girls also went to flower around the same time Strawberry cough did a month ago. It seems to be doing fine now though and hasn't gone back to flower again like strawberry has. Which leads me to wonder why this has happened. I would question light from houses and surrounding suburbs if it were them reverting back to veg from flower however the other way round baffles me. And why 2 of the three did it is also strange....maybe something to do with soil mix or stress from something or just shit seeds? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all. Scraps
  3. Thanks for the replies all, much appreciated. Just had a look at Dragonfly Earth Medicine, are you able to get it shipped to Aus? Or is it sold anywhere here? I've got a nice worm farm at home, probably wouldn't be there enough to maintain one where the garden is, hence why I'd go a couple of compost bays. Will check the other stuff you mentioned! Cheers
  4. Yeah has been some time since I've been on here. Unfortunately haven't grown for a few years, been more focused on other things including this. Anyway here's some shots. Here's a photo from a year ago or so of the finished garden. The photos don't do justice to the productivity of the garden and how much is being grown, nevertheless it allows you to see the overall perspective. This is one from the bottom tier in the orchard section, there are about 9 fruit trees which are all substantially bigger now. Installed a net that encloses the entire section, pretty nice..unfortunately don't have a shot of that. Already harvested lots of apples, apricots and blood plums. And just a few shots of some produce. Five years on and I'm about to put the compost bays in, after that maybe the pergola dream will come to fruition. Anyway that's it for now. Growing your own is second to none, you learn a hell of a lot about what food is actually meant to look and taste like, and when I say taste, I mean taste in a magical sense. It's bloody unbelievable. I'm trying to close the loop even more so to speak, trying to look into getting a little seed bank together and learning how to harvest and store them for years to come. That way it becomes even more self sufficient. Anyway I'll leave it there. Cheers! Scraps
  5. Cheers guys thanks nibbler, nice to be back having a look around. Yeah a mate who loves his buds (loves smoking my stuff) is also a graphic designer, said he was bored so he designed and printed them for me.....pretty sweet I had no idea. Can't complain
  6. Yeah the frisian dew is really nice. I can't fault Dutch Passion on their outdoor strains, especially the purple relatives. Always so strong in the Vic climate....its like they prefer cold. The vanilla kush did surprisingly well. Was planted really late and just took off, flowered a lot later than frisian which was good and bad. Meant a lot bigger plant but had to cut a little early because of mould, always the way it seems though. Definitely not under developed, it's pretty dam strong, very relaxing though which is nice.
  7. lucky me got the purple pheno, delicious

  8. Haven't been here in some time! nice to see the forums still pumping. Did a grow this year, thought I would just share the end result. Did 3 plants, blueberry is still growing so no photos of her but have harvested Vanilla Kush from barneys, and Frisian Dew from dutch passion. I was fortunate enough to get the purple pheno! was very stoked about that. Anyway, all outdoor organic just grown with some pre fertilised garden soil (did a bit in winter) with seasol and gogo juice, nothing else. They are all still curing at the moment but already are awesome smoke. A mate of mine made some labels for whatever reason, turned out to be pretty nice colour ways and what not, anyway enjoy, cheers. comparison a nice little pile of kush Frisian dew straight of the plant
  9. perlite and coco is good. You want nice aerated soil the roots can dig through quickly......the bigger the roots the bigger the plant , they like aeration...why not give it to them. . As mentioned previously horse manure would have burnt your seedlings......that's a lesson learnt. Don't be afraid of soil though, if not coco just go out and get some seedling mix and perlite and let them do their thing. I find its a good thing especially for new growers to not get caught up with nutrients and all that growing outdoors, generally a decent soil mix just with some manures and compost, a bit of seasol and maybe worm castings if you have them and gogo juice.......all products that are pretty forgiving and will give your plants all the nutrients they need along with the soil not to mention the quality of bud that is produced, keep it organic and the bud really flourishes in all aspects, flavour, smell and so on. keep it simple scraps
  10. Oright, cut a long story short. I know very little about autoflowers however decided to grow some this season to harvest some early buds I did my research and came up with 5 strains that seemed to be the ones worth getting, however I only need 3 or can only afford 3 . So anyone that has any knowledge or can shed some light on any of these strains, it would be appreciated, I'd like it if you guys on here decided on the strains........wouldn't make me feel so responsible for choosing a bad one. They're going to be grown organically Outdoors where the temperature can still get quite low around 9 degrees and highs of probably averaging 20 degrees, I know that isn't great weather but its what I got. And I've grown great buds there in the past so I'm not overally concerned. So the strains are Pineapple Express - Barneys Big Devil - Sweet Seeds Short Stuff - MI5 (heard it can hermie?) BIodiesel Mass Easy Rider I had already mentally decided to take Easy Rider out of the lot but if someone recons it has something special please let me know. Also if there are any other great auto flowering strains out there you've tried that work, please don't hesitate to mention. So...............what are your Top 3 Thanks in advance. Scraps
  11. Wait, you took a shit in your hole?
  12. I personally recon you should buy a few beans of each and try some out and see what works for you. Saying that I would get easier strains, definitely green house white widow, that stuff will do well for you. And I must say I'm a sucker for Dutch Passion, I recon they have great genetics and every strain I've grown from them has just had something special about it., By the way is this outdoor or indoor? If it is outdoor then 100% go with some dutch passion strains.
  13. this will bite them in the ass in good time
  14. just look up tobacconists or smoke shops, id say 75% have them
