Sheep poo. You must know about that, being a Kiwi. Seriously, mate, get some ROSE potting mix. If you have a look at some of my old grow diaries, both indoor and outdoor, these may help. I get consistant good results with these tactics. Also you will need to get cracking, as the season is getting on.

I have a smallish shed as my grow room and have 5 fans in an area of 2m x 2m x 1.9m. One 350mm high output extractor fan, kitchen or bathroom type, one 150mm in line with the cool tube, two 250mm 3 speed box fans hung in diagonally opposite corners angled downward and a 350mm pedestal 3 speed fan. I like as much air movement inside the shed as possible, this also simulates the wind in an outdoor situation. So for mine, as much air movement as possible. Also helps with preventing hotspots.

Jars are good. I use both Moccona and snap top preserving jars, these can be bought cheap at places like Overflow, Crazy Clarks, etc. I want to try freezing some buds, when I get a few to experiment with.

G'day Troops. I heard from a reliable source that some commercial growers had sprayed their buds with lead oxide. How fucked is that? To add weight, they spray their, probably poor quality crap, with a terribly dangerous and possibly fatal chemical. lead is a leading cause of birth defects, and lead is like arsenic, it builds in your system and wrecks everything inside you. I'd like to know who does this, steps would be taken. But as many others here have said, grow your own. This ensures you know exactly what is in it, and that no harm will come to you, or your mates, who like to smoke quality heads. Now days I won't smoke anyone else's heads, unless I see it being grown and treated well. A little love goes a long way. :guitar:

G'day Joker. Maggie Island Madness was a favourite of mine. And the crazy shit they grew at Silver Valley near Tully, it was pure fucking evil. Flat on the back material. Without doubt the strongest smoke I've ever had in 40 odd years. :guitar:

G'day Rub. I found some seeds in a tin at my Mum's house, a couple of seasons ago, that would have to have been that old, and they grew like crazy. Terrific smoke and very robust plants. I think it was Maggie Island Madness. :guitar:

G'day Nasty. Melbourne cup time is when you should have your seedlings well established, 4 or more sets of leaves, at this time you should tip prune the plants to increase yield. If you check out the Outdoor Grows, Southern Hemisphere, you will be set right. Then you just gotta sweat it out till around Anzac Day, when things should have come to a head, chuckle, chuckle!!! :guitar:

G'day Raz. Drainage is vital, good drainage. If you give them wet feet, like most plants, they will react badly. Build up your beds with compost and good soil, manures, blood and bone, lime, potash etc. Easy to grow, hard to grow well. If you need to learn about gardening, watch Gardening Australia. Those people know what they are talking about. Watch for rose specials as cannabis is related to roses, so rose nutrients are a good thing. Buy a litre of Go-Go Juice from Bunnings, use as directed and you will have a patch to be proud of. :guitar:

If you fuck it up, and it seems to me you will, from lack of knowledge, you could be killed, or someone you hold dear could be killed, or the house will burn down.
