Thanx Mullray, but it doesn't seem to matter who, or what the justification is. "I'm just a little angry at the treatment this person has gotten from some members" It is sentiments like this that illustrate my point. And I have to say that I am also "just a little bit angry" at the way some members have been treated in regards to this issue. I have ALWAYS been as kind and gentle with my fellow members as I possibly could be ...(well ok I did snap on Al B once, but I never lost respect for him) and I have always trusted that the mods would keep things pleasant. That trust was betrayed in a different thread, and it is apparent here as well that we are free to say what we think as long as it is in agreement with the powers that be. I believe without a doubt that if this had been a member rather than a stranger, all the posts would still be standing for all to read. Recent experience proves this to me.

Well, at the risk of being deleted yet again, I have to agree. The problem with this thread, which has lost the site more than one member so far, is that it is indeed as Radic points out. It is clear to me that for whatever reason the site owner feels the need to disregard the feelings of known and trusted members in favor of a stranger. A stranger that the majority of us are very uncomfortable with for various reasons. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I have "emptied my desk" here, I think if you look around you'll find more than just me gone missing. The only reason I look at this thread is because I am a nosey bitch that can't seem to believe that my leaving because of it means nothing... Perhaps Cannabis Research has more to offer this community that I once called family, than I ever could. So Niall, you are not alone. See you people somewhere else.

I'm sticking my neck out here for Radic, and posting. I went to school with a boy that had such a terrible stutter that he literally could not talk. But once he smoked even a small amount of cannabis the stutter was gone completely. That is when I first realized the medicinal qualities of cannabis. Peace out.

ALright, we're talking SOIL here. Most soil growers don't bother keeping such things around. You need to make sure the soil is 6.5-7 and also the water. Lime is used in soil as a buffer and can be added as a top dressing. To acidify the easiest way is to add one asprin tablet to a gallon of water and soak the soil. Soil grows are just not that sensitive. In hydro you really have to be careful, but soil is much more forgiving. Unless your Ph is way off, you shouldn't have troubles. PS, I have never had a need for a resevoir I use VERY LITTLE nutes in a soil grow as my soil mix is what feeds the plants. When I do need to add something I most often foliar feed something simple and organic. Most problems in soil stem from the confusion between hydro nutes and soil. And also from an overloading of the soil. When you pour nutes into soil they do not just run off as in hydro. There eventually will be problems with buildup, and flushing soil is not as easy as soiless mediums.

no...that is not true, and it requires handling of a very delicate root sprout which is only necessary to the curiosity of the grower. Beans planted at 2x the width of the bean in Jiffy pellets and put on a heat mat will break surface in 3 days. There is no magic trick to making a seed sprout faster.

LowRyder will go from seed to harvest in 90 days. Please just put the seed in soil and keep it moist until it sprouts....

Yeah I agree. One of the clones I bought from the shops was in rockwool. I peeled away as much as I could and put her in my soil mix. She is doing great now... looked a little sick when I got her. I remember that years ago rockwool was used for insulation. It sucked for that as well.

Ya know, I never really looked into it, I never questioned why. I know they love it in veg. Hmmm something to go look up in the books.... I didn't mean any disrespect, and didn't feel any either, so all is good there. Maybe somebody else can explain about the Co2. But for sure if there's alot of air movement then there's not much point in adding it. The fresh air will give them the right amounts nws. I agree that hemp fields would help clean up the place much faster than most other plants, but it's also because we can make clean fuels from it as well and not have to destroy as many trees for paper and lumber. It is an all around good plant, but I don't see them letting that happen any time soon. Too many corporate fat cats in the way.
