  6. Hey all This contraption has caught my eye lately and got me wondering if its any good. Ive googled a few times in the last weeks and havent been able too find many decent reviews on it. The info out there seems a little scant There are a couple of vids on youtube from which I'm surmising that theyre fairy handy for larger , longer buds which does make it tempting and Im already use a spinpro type trimmer for smaller and rounder shaped buds which does a great job. So anyone taken the plunge on these yet? Give us the pros, cons, cercumstances where you would and wouldn't use them... Do they suit certain types and shapes of buds better than others? Will they work off 12v ? (be handy for the bush) Do they gum up? Durability? Can you sharpen the blades? and the rest... Thanks TBR
  7. Helicopter, 1,000,000 seed plus a remote fertile area and you may just succeed. I dunno though.... Good luck . Tbr
  8. Gotta agree with Merlin. I started with soil and then 3 years of coco. I use recurculated perlite now and its reliability and easiness is gold. Having said that soil can work great if you use big enough pots and get the mix right. Good luck. Tbr
  9. If they were mine Id Go half the way up at least cutting off the lower branches. You can paint the exposed trunk with clonex and this will encourage roots out of the trunk after a month or so , I use perlte fwiw. All depends what type of plant stucture you want. Id also be tidying the top up a little and cutin out any scragglers. Good luck whatever you do theyl come good Edit* forgot too mention bury them up when repotting if your after a good bush structure.
  10. Looks great Glen I reckon you got near to a kilo there maybe . Should keep you happy for a while. Could be a factor in the no ferts but we'll never know. I think a good flush would yield the same results and obviously there were some ferts there in the firt place for you too yield that amount. Cheers
  11. Quote form V-rod " My mix is black n gold potting mix and searls propergation mix " IIve used searles propagation mix for the last 5 years and they allways do better with fert. Infact theyre lame without it. As for black and gold potting mix dont make me laugh. Barky cheapo potting mix is about as inert as a bucket of clayballs so it sont matter how big it is. The truth will prevail TBR
