  1. Congratulations on winning Canna Porn Jan - Feb 2007 ;)
  2. over watering as everyone else said looks like the culprit. The first leaves are always affected first on the tips then it eventually kills off the whole leaf. Let it dry out for a bit and you should be fine.
  3. BB, it's even worse knowing who did it and not being able to do anything about it. Karma is something that will always catch up to people i guess thankfully. All the best for next season. Thankfully we escaped our harvest without too many dramas despite alot of people finding out about it unfortunately. A couple of pickies of the harvest. It's in a very tight space so couldnt get a very good photo of all the buds. But we pulled just over a pound off the old girl. We were hoping for more but in the end the bud was so awesome we didnt really give a damn!
  4. looking awesome now mate. probs time to throw it under some more serious light me thinks. other than that looking very luscious!
  5. hrmm I had it on 12 12 for ages with no light leaks and it had great success for a while until it just stopped- which confused the hell out of me. I then was forced to move it outside for reasons beyond me- and I think it revegged a little bit but i actually checked it today and its looking quite healthy. I think i might just leave it up t mother nature to sort her out!
  6. hey mate I had the same prob with my first grow- definately over watering ease up on the water and the nutrients. Wait till the top couple of centimetres are dry before you water it again. Hold up on the nutes until you get a few sets of strong leaves. This is a pic of my seedling over watered a while back. Good luck mate
  7. hey guys I just thought Id drop in and ask a question about my indoor plant which has recently been moved outdoors... it seems that my plant has just stopped budding- after going through a great vegetative stage- then what seemed to be a successful flowering effort in the cupboard has all of a sudden come to a stand still in the cupboard. and then when i moved it ouside it seemed to respond fine to the change but still didnt show progress within the last few weeks. I have used a soak to get rid of what was a small sciarid fly infestation a while back- which i thought was contirbuting to the slow progress- but now i am just absolutely stumped... anyone got any ideas to why the flowering process is on standby? and maybe some help in regards to getting it back on track (or maybe some products to assist?). I thought Id come to you peeps first coz you all seem to have the right answers and have the chance to debate it instead of just one firm hydro dudes opinion! Thanks guys- hope you can help!
  8. the optimum height for a plant under a your average hps (400W) is apparently 14 inches. I found for my plant (sativa) it kept growing even in 12/12 cycle and grew very close to the lights too quickly. If you let your plants get too close to the light and the cupboard gets too hot they could end up with heat stress which can really stunt the growth. If its just under a flood light you should be able to hammer it pretty close- I would anyway as the right one seems to be getting lots and lots of stretch. My last grow went well with a cupboard that size, a 400W hps and just an old ball bearing computer fan and oscilating fan for ventilation. except for the heat stress issues- hope this helps..
  9. hey guys- interesting thread- dunno how we got onto body building! i was interested in the whole st johns warts theory. are you able to take it as an extra to part of an anti-depressant routine? i am taking setraline tablets at the moment (the slow re-balancing of the brain chemicals type) which you cant really become dependant on. i was wondering if I would get any benefits from the st johns ontop of my daily dose. (ps. i have cut back smoking to weekends these days). oh and to pacificrim. I totally agree- i know a few people who have suffered seizures from shrooms and almost put themselves out of business. pretty dangerous shit (if abused)- in general you have to be careful when ingesting drugs as apposed to smoking them. but on that note- moderation is the key!
  10. thanks to everyone who voted! she was looking alot more lush back then! these days shes very obese and smelly which is even better! thanks again!
  11. hey mate got a grow diary in process! "sherms first indoor grow!" but i havent had a real chance to hammer it with these nutes yet as i have just completed a sciarid fly drench and funga-rid treatment. ill keep you posted. cheers.
  12. hey guys i just thought id ask a quick question about a nutrient my mate picked up for me the other day. its a South Australian nutrient manufactorer by the name of Indica Supreme Nutrients (ISN Supreme). has anybody used (or even heard) of them? i reckon its a good idea to support local businesses anyway- so im giving it a shot at the moment... but i thought id drop a line to get some feedback on it anyway. cheers.
  13. mate u gotta give them credit for jumping in the deep end and starting this magazine up in the first place... it was a big risk and they should be given praise for stepping out of the norm and working on something as controversal as this magazine is. i think they're just trying to make sure everything is going to be suitable for the audience and make sure no one can complain and ban it before releasing them willy nilly. alot of hard work has already gone into the magazine no doubt and it would be silly to throw the effort out the window by getting trigger happy!
