Oh yeah, vinegar does work. I've known a few who've used it and passed. It's just all about clearing ya mouth of residue.

The tests are testing for residue in the mouth. If you brush your teeth, tongue too of course, there is no residue to throw a positive. Vinegar is known to work. I'm assuming the acidity strips the residue from one's mouth.

The basic mechanism is the same, something is heated to the boil of producing vapour without combustion, and you inhale said vapour. Unless you're using dodgy black market items that contains harmful additives, you shouldn't have to worry. So long as you don't have crappy PGR'd buds or incompletely purged oil that is.
