Son-t Just has more blue so is a better bulb to use during veg than the standard.

 

The SunMaster Super-HPS Deluxe (my globe) has the same benefits, added blue spectrum and 20% increased output (or so says the marketing).

 

I've looked up the comparison charts and it seems to me that SunMaster's equivilent slightly outperforms Son-T globes, are they worth the extra 20-30 bucks in price? I can't answer that.

 

I also use the SunMaster Warm-Deluxe MH globe, it has added orange spectrum for I guess making it more useful in flower.

 

Both my bulbs are 400 watters.
