CO2 Overload?

Recommended Posts

nothing has really changed in the room except the introduction of C02. I'm running the temps a little higher than b4 but with a/c it's not a prob. I thought it was more light burn at first as some leaves do look a little bleached but after moving and raising the lights it's not that and the prob is occuring in different parts of the plant that are shaded. So then i considered massive under-fert bc of CO2 uptake, fast growth etc but i upped the nutes and re-considered. looking closer it does seems to mainly affect the biggest leaves and it looks like it's fucking up photo-synthesis on the leaves. I don;'t have a flow meter for my CO2 so I can;t regulate it properly. I'll stop using it for a day or two and see what happens but i'd really appreciate some first-hand exp.

cheers

What strength are you running your nutes at ??? How's your pH ??

Could be overfert but if the new growth tips don't have any yellowing/browning tips it aint that. Could be a pH related lockout/def if it's hitting the older growth - they are usually the first to show symptoms of ph related lockouts.

Sorry mate can't help with cO2 related issues - try pm'ing JackFrost on that one

Hey mate never had a co2 overload before, need 2 get yourself a good controller.

But before ya jump 2 conclusions make sure that nothing else is wrong and rule out this before continuing.

Is your ph within range? --yes

Is Ec to high? ---no

Are lights to close to plant?

Do i have scarid fly or any root rot?

Im i using a good quality fert?

Your plants look stressed mate? Would stop co2 and flush for a day or two with plain water and start nutes again.

sorry just reread your post - you have allready flushed!

If everything else is OK, there must be 2 much co2 in the room - get a 10dollar test kit 2 c how many ppm are in there. - usually over 2500ppm starts 2 damage plants
