Problems!

Recommended Posts

^ good point, i can be a bit pessemistic at time.. B)

I heard of cases were people upgraded their light from 400W to 600W and they a very similar if not the the same prob as you wantdachronic. More light=more resources because of more growth.

Your reflector is better, in fact any reflector (including no reflector at all and vert. bulbs) are better than the china hat... sounds to me like checking the pots (more perlite in the soil mix maybe?) might help you to find a solution.

the temp at the top of the plant is 32 deg and humidity 48%
Try and drop the temp to around 26 - 28 deg and raise the humidity a bit too, a low powered fan and fine insect screen on the inlet vent is how I would try first, don't let the fan blow directly on any of the plants as it would be too cold.
a hole in the hollow bickwork at the bottom which draws in alot of cold air which is about 12 deg comming in
Is the hollow brick work free from damp and mould?

ive got something very similar to this leaf curl. ive had it b4 usually on young plants or clones, it seems to go away as the plant becomes better established and bigger, im wondering if its due to a sudden increased growth, as mine have recently gone under a 400w after at least 2 months of rough hours and a weak fluro,

yeh i thought that too .. it kinda also looks like when you turn a plant from 12 hrs and in flower back to 18 and reveg it you get strangenon jagged leafs

They would also have been lacking a little in CO2, they could have lost a little of their heat tolerance due to that as well. If you use one of those adjustable voltage plug in adaptors to run the PC fan you can use it as a speed control.
