Cannabis clinic details out.

The NSW Government has released details about a new cannabis treatment clinic to be opened in Orange within months.

 

The centre will service 200 face-to-face clients every year.

 

The Government expects that most of the people accessing the centre will be heavy, problematic cannabis users, but there will also be programs for parents whose young children use the drug.

 

The Special Minister of State, John Della Bosca, says the community will be consulted before a venue for the clinic is finalised.

 

"The treatment centre is likely to be operating prior to July this year, so in the...next couple of months the centre should be fully operational," he said.

 

Mr Della Bosca says the clinic will deliver extension services through community health centres in Parkes, Forbes and Cowra.

 

The $250,000 project is part of a long-term cannabis treatment program.

sounds like rehab for potheads, considering theres a few million smokers in oz and there going to treat 200 per year with a budget of $250.000 its going to make a big difference to the drug problem.

I would approach you for a job in the quality control section, I reckon you would need heaps of testing carried out on the finished product.
