noticed a story on tv last night, the indo's are saying they are watching 4 or 5 aussies in bali on suspision of buying dope, the bloke with the 1.8g's had No THC in his system so there looking at him as a dealer

 

story i heard was that he had the 1.8 grams in 3 seperate plastic containers and thats why they are looking at him as a dealer...but if he didnt have thc in his system and it was in 3 seperate containers, that does look suss

I'm not generally one to jump on the bandwagon about judging countries for what happens in them...fuck i'd still go to afghanistan if the americans had left ne thing to look at...but this Bali stuff is fucked. We have been sending tourists to Bali ever since it first started as a tourist attraction, fuck Bali is like Mexico for Australians. And this is how we are repayed, honestly i would recomend anyone that believes in what this country was founded on should boycott going to Bali for the unlawful and unjust proceedings that are going on.

I happened to read a pretty good article the other day discussing the differences between the Indonesian and Australian legal systems specifically regarding the Corby case. The article highlighted how although most Australians feel Schappelle is getting treated unjustly she is actually getting much more leniency in legal proceedings than she would here and more so than native Indonesians if they were they facing the same charge. Bearing in mind the presumption of innocence and the requirement of proving guilt are different here as to Indonesia where it seems you have to prove your innocence. The admission of the Victorian prisoners evidence of an overheard conversation and letters from the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister detailing local investigations into other criminal matters never would have made it into any court in Australia. I fully understand the farce and lunancy of this case and it's appalling mismanagement would have seen it thrown out of an Australian court very quickly or at least 12 jurors would have delivered a sensible not guity verdict due to too many unaswered questions and anomalies but this article did make me stop and think for a second.

After all thats happened in Bali to foreign white infidels who bend over backwards to try and help these people, I fail to see why anyone would want to go there again to enjoy themselves.

 

As soon as you set foot in the place you are regarded as a peice of shit by the muslim uneducated pre-historic religious fuckwits that manage to survive there.

 

If you must visit an asian country, go to the Philippines.....not much better living standards or prisons but at least your among people who beleive in the same religious myth as westerners.....Your looked up to and you'll get a fair deal in the courts if you do go astray.
