Question about my budding plant

Hey all,

 

Well as its my first grow im not sure what to expect during the final stages of bloom.

My buds are starting to grow quite fast now there really starting to stetch out, but ive noticed these little pods on the bud there quite visable and have a few red and white hairs coming out of the middle.

 

I have other clones in the room and they r still female and my girl has stayed a girl for this long , i know how to tell a male from a fem when in Veg, but not sure about this. I popped one open to see if there was a seed in it, but was full of fluid!!!

 

Thats the only thing different through the whole process!!! there is heaps of Bud and i have been so carefull with light and evrything, light runs on timer 12/12. so thats perfect.

 

Can anyone please help????

hey mate if its got hairs its female calyx.balls open and are a distintive flower.they be what makes up your bud mate.theyare false seed pods.they are starting to swell by the sounds of it and the hairs will change colour as the die off and reach ripeness.a pic would be great.basically hairs female,balls male as you know and both together hermie.although when male flowers develop on hermie they look like a bunch of little bananas.mate search seedbanks and forums and look at bud closups as this might explain.hope this helps.

Clones can be differentiated in veg by looking at their preflowers. Cuts taken from a female will remain female, unless you stress the crap out of them and they are already genetically unstable, which can sometimes throw out hermies even though the majority stays female.

 

Nature will find a way.

 

Yeah, a pic would make things a lot easier for us to help out, but it sounds like you're doing well. When about 80% of the white hairs are red all over the buds, then you're about right. Anything from 8-12 weeks from the induction to 12:12.
