Help me... what is wrong with my plant?

Your problem could be caused by a number of problems mate. Taking a look at your picture you see most of the leaves have that really "bubble look", where inbetween the ribs of the leaves bubble up.

 

I found this is one of the first signs of stress with the plant.

 

A few questions 2 ask yourself mate.

 

First check your PH and EC ----> are they within parameters?

 

Im I using a good quality ferts?

 

Do I have root rot? ---->can be caused by a number of things:- Over watering, Scarid Fly, Water temp 2 high. Check your roots, they should be ivory white and should have very little smell.

 

Are the room temps within range?

 

Are my roots "root bound" in the pot?

 

Are my plants getting fresh co2?

 

Looking at the leaves they look like they are drying out causing bubble effect, If the soil was watered enough then you must a problem with the roots uptaking nutrients and water.

 

Personally mate - leave the dirt outside and grow in a hydroponic medium - you will get much better results.

Thanks guys. I am almost sure the plant is root bound, but there is nothing I can do about it at this point. Room temps are 26-27 degrees, I would love to check root colour and smell but how ??

 

And I'm going to start co2 today... the room is pretty dodgy, lots of stale air etc

Then your ventilation is not up to scratch, that could be the cause of your problems too.

Sorry wasn't too clear, I have tons of ventilation, fans galore, but the source of all my air is from a big stale room under the house that I have no possibility of venting in or out from... its ok I have the co2 system running now so shouldn't be a problem... by the way, just checked at lights-on, and guess what?

 

 

Woo hoo I'm so happy..... I think I burned them a bit though with a too-strong feed, gotta lay off the nutes dammit I keep forgetting how sensitive they are, especially in soil.
