growing in pot's

is it possible to grow mj in pot's with plain potting soil or does it have to be hydro.

i'm new to growing so some help would be great.

It's more than possible to grow in plain soil, infact I'm a strong proponent of soil under lights, I find it's much simpler than other grow-methods. The only thing I reccommend is to add a bit of Perlite to the mix - it improves drainage of the soil.

 

If you use a premium potting-mix with slow-release fertilizer already added you won't even need to feed your plants anything except water until they hit the flower stage.

 

I've written a few posts praising Soil as a medium, do a search on the forums and you'll find quite a few.
