.. i recently bought some canna organic acid strictly for ph and made the mistake of using some dutchfest chemical nutes together now i have some shit-green funky bacteria in my rez.. and my ph has been totally erratic since soon i will change to a bottle of phosphoric acid to lower ph but just curious if there was any anti fungal//bacteria solutions i could use to help out my grow, .. it would be a shame to see this plant die.. showing some slight symptoms of mg deficient lately or maybe it's more then a secondary nutrient .. but the first set of seedling leaves have been spotting/yellowing around the edges/veins, in vegie stage atm ..yea and also i have been having to change the rez so frequently.. as of the moment flushed for one light cycle to dispell most of the toxic buildup.

the reason your res has that shit in it is because your acid started working on the nutrients...if i had to bet, i would say that u put the nutes in the res, then the acid, then the water and were amazed when all these algae looking things started swimming around i have seen that happen all the time :thumbdown it happens because the chemicals are not the best of friends when combined and start eating at each other making the nutes and all the other chemicals pretty much useless for growing and if left unchecked, can lead to really big problems :thumbdown

 

easiest way to avoid those kinds of problems is to put the water in first, then the nutes...do a pH check and adjust accordingly, wait 30 mins then check again and adjust if needed.....following those guidlines, your plant should pick up nicely as i had the same problems with my last crop and only relised the error of my ways after i watched a propagation video i downloaded and after about a week, they were all looking great again

sound slike a job for microbile it will not oly treat and prevent the fungi and algie but it will also imitate and assist with your plants imune system , giving your ladies a chance to bounce back to thier healthy state

 

to avoid the problem in future , make sure light can't get into the res , and also mix up your nutes ect AFTER you have added water , or half way through , two part nutes , come in two parts for a reason

thanks again for the advice, and replies: though the plant ended picking up after three flushes with ph adjusted water and i vaguely remember buying some anti-bactiria solution for the reservoir at a local hydro store, i had a problem with hard water though and the plant eventually ended locking up in nutrients. (in which i will do looking into again). Ta.

DutchMaster Guardian is meant to kill all that kind of shit off, i'll let you know how well it works in a couple of days because i have some coming in the mail :whistling

I have been using Guardian, as I couldnt find microbial.

Its good, as its a once a week thing.
