Envirolite 125 watt fluro

Recommended Posts

does anyone know where to buy this in Australia?

and has anypne used it?

cheers.

The Envirolite has a built-in ballast, uses little energy, and provides the full spectrum that plants require. New technological electronic ballasts provide for instant, flicker-free illumination compared to early designed magnetic ballasts. Envirolites' have a rated life of 10,000 hours before the intensity may diminish (compare this with most flourescent grow tubes on the market that begin to diminish after only a couple of months!). The heat generated is far less than any H.P.S. or M.H. light source. Working temperature is so low that you can actually touch the bulb while it is on without injury. They are available in a full spectrum 6400K (daylight) version and a 2700K red version. Both bulbs use only 125 watts of electricity and produce 12,500 lumens, and can be placed within inches of tender seedlings and cuttings for maximum usable light without burning plants. Many growers who are growing medium to tall plants will hang these lights from the ceiling and position them within the plant canopy for intense supplemental side lighting to increase production. Garden Lights' can be used "as is" with the socket assembly and cord plugged directly into the wall, or they may be installed in just about any HID reflector in our catalog (check out the Max-89 with the Envirolite install kit, below). Think about the cost savings on the ballast alone, not to mention the electricity
