Cannabis found inside a garden ornament in Alice Springs led police to the discovery of $200,000 worth of the drug at a Darwin home.

 

Police say a drug dog helped police intercept 88 grams of cannabis hidden in a cavity in the ornament.

 

Police then searched the Darwin suburb of Karama where they found more than two kilograms of cannabis and a substantial amount of cash.

 

They also found a mould identical to the ornament.

 

A 54-year-old man has been charged over the haul.
