what i mean with that last statement is that the asian gangs are really growing heaps of weed and taking over a lot hydro in sydney at the moment. Really starting to upset some of the bikie gangs around, and pushing pound prices right down to near nothing - not worth growing.

Those are great pictures.

Even shows the reflectors in a couple of them. Those plants are fairly big but about right cause the pots are about the right size.

 

If pound prices are being pushed down to nothing (how much is that?) does that mean people will be given it away is Sydney soon. ::

It was only a few years ago you could get 4K a pound around Sydney or $3.5K for 10 pounds.

 

Now you would be lucky to sell pounds for 2.8K and have seen it off and on last year at 2.2K per single.

 

Now those back yard growers who grow the filth are not going to sell there herbs for 2.2K a elbow - when they only pull 2-4 pounds a crop.

 

Asians and some lebs are doing massive deals around Sydney which filters down to dealers doing 1 or 2 pounds a week in sticks and bags who service the everyday smoker. These dealers are not going to buy your filth for 3500-4000 when they can buy average smoko for 2200-2800 a pound. There making a extra 1300-1800 per pound by using the asains gear.

 

So what happens to the little grower who grows maybe 15-20 pounds a year to try and get ahead in life. They say fuck it because the risk is not worth the gain and believe me there are alot of little growers.

Well said Jack. I have heard the same stories on the streets - a lot of in-fighting between distributors. Average lb price in Sydney atm around $2600.

plus for next couple on months your got all the bush bud coming onto the market...... you will lucky to get 2K in another month. ----suppose your better off saving up the elbows for before christmas to get dollars but you run the risk of holding product. -----> a think a lot of smaller growers will go back to selling oz bags for 250+ so they can get more money for there product, instead of selling as pounds. 2600 = 162 per bag. ummm 250 is alot better then 160.

 

SA is lot worse at 1800-2200 per elbow.

The average price in Perth is $3200-$3600 a pound. Varies though, same as with ozzies. At the mo, there's not even ounces around, or many small deals. Always happens around xmas and lasts thru until the bushie season is over, or longer :thumbdown
