Belgium reforms cannabis laws

Hello together,

 

 

Since the first of February this year, Belgium has updated their cannabis laws. They already did so in May 2003, yet because of severe shortcomings the court overruled those changes in October 2004.

Therefore those laws were being revised and now accepted.

Generally, it is to be pointed out that Belgians who are caught with less than 3g are allowed to keep their dope and do not have to fear a sue as the police is demanded to set different priorities. Same applies if you are caught with one plant.

 

However this law does not apply for foreigners or minors, yet it is a sign that changes have to be done. Unfortunately this law originally aimed to decriminalize a larger amount of pot, but the way through the wheels of democracy left its sign.

how the hell do you tell your plant not to produce more than 3 grams?

Oh, sorry, I think I wasn't clear enough: The government tolerates 3g of pot for personal posession AS WELL AS 1 plant- , it doesn't mean that your plant is supposed to produce only 3 g - although I know one guy who 'managed' that: Incredibly bad summer, a lot of rain so that the humidity was so high that the buds of his small, bushy indica got mould. At the end he harvested 5g I think...

 

Originally the Government intended to decriminalize much more, but you know how it goes. They propose it, christians and conservatives come out of their holes and yell their voodoo-zombie-marihuana propaganda a la Anslinger, and at the end of the day it is us who is screwed again...

What im getting at is that for eg- you mate had a fucked up crop and he still got more than 3g.

I know your allowed 1 plant, but after he has harvested and dried it.

he will still have over 3grams of bud.

What do they expect him to do with the rest over 3 grams?

throw it in the bin, give it to a mate??

 

If your allowed to have 3 grams and 1X plant wow. I could easily grow a 12 foot plants that is chock full of buds. I have netted a 2 pounds of an outdoors plant once.

i think the 3 gram is just a personal stash point of view freng, you know if your out on the town sort of a thing .

1 plant would be what your allowed to grow for personal use , so yea , couple of 6oo watt hps , one big scrog in a bubbler i'd say those belgians have got it made .

but yea if its done that way its ok. But I was thinking that it meant belongs to you at any given time.

Dude, I tell you: That law doesn't really make sense, it contardicts itself: You're damn right, if you have a plant (which is allowed) and you harvest it, you'll get rather 300 grams if its a good one than 3 grams. So it doesn't make sense. I read an article in the newspaper of the German Medical Association about that revision but it did not state all terms of that law, so I assume that there must be some exception for an amount harvested by a plant.

 

Instead of changing something to promote transparency and make contemporary revisions, they just messed up that good idea and it turned out to be stuff like that.
