Just checked my plants and it looks like there's really fine webbing over the tops of some of the big buds, and in between some of the leaves. I checked under the leaves and it looks like ther's a few tiny brown crawly things under there. Last couple of weeks the leaves have been getting white spots on them but I can't see any bugs flying around inside the cupboard. I've got 4 plants in a cupboard, run to waste, 6 weeks into flower. I've just sprayed with white oil. Anyone know what it is or what else I can do? I took some pics but you can't see the webbing. Any help appreciated, they're almost ready to pull!

dont stress about it mate.

you can try oils and sprays and shit. it will get rid of a lot of em. confidor is good shit. you got a fan in your grow room? bugs hate wind!+

i suggest you water cure the buds when you harvest. all the mites will come out of the buds when they are under water. kill the fuckers as they come out.

people laugh when i say water cure, but its a good method imo. esp in cases like this. good luck :smoke

Shit, that's no good mate :D I've had a fair few problems with spidermite myself in the last few months, especially when the warmer weather started. Be really careful with any insecticides, especially with harvest time so soon, you don't want to be smoking anything funky!! All I can do is recommend: Beneficial Bugs Co Get yourself some predator mites, cleans up the spidermite at a phenomenol rate and the bonus is no chemicals! You can order them thru Beneficial Bugs Co, I have used them a couple of times and they're a great company. They arrived within a few days from over east, packaged well. Hope this helps you out!

P.S If you do order some, the home pack is the go, about $30.00 it'll set you back (from my hazy, stoned memory B) )

Holy Spider-mites Batman!!!!

Little Buggers are immune to a lot of things since Dicofol and other chemicals mutated them years back. They are NOT a natural bug. We created these super bugs. The eggs are impervious to most sprays, so spraying twice a day for weeks might be required to beat their breeding program. I have found only one thing you can use, that kills them with one spray and kills their eggs as well, with only a 3 day withholding period.

The product is Vertimec, and costs about $200 per litre. (1litre makes 1000litres) It is NOT available from Garden Centres, and is a Commercial Spray, for farmers only. You can get it from Agricultural suppliers.

If you want some I have it in stock and can be encouraged to lend you some as a sample if you are in store. I cannot send out samples.

Predators are a long term solution that will cost a lot, because the numbers of mites to predators have to have a balance to keep the predators alive. As a result often they wipe themselves out by eating all the mites, and then the mites come back. Some people have good results with them, but its harder than a spray.

In between crops try bombing the room with a cockroach and flea bomb. Clean any Hydroponic system and remove before bombing.

Good Luck,
