Hey peoples,Just thought id start a topic on resin lip seeing how i get it almost every time i smoke.Just seeing if anyone knows why this occurs.I have tried various bongs and seem to get it more from plastic ones than any other.Im thinking its the chemicals in the bud that makes it happen.

It's not resin , it's tar from the smoke . Try vaporising , you get no tar at all . Just lovely tastin' vape .

your problem is either too much or not enough water combined with pulling the cones too hard...

 

my advice would be to pull the cones slower for a single session and see if u get resin lip

 

oh and clean ya bong after every chop...

lmao .. yeah man .. its the shape of the bongs that give ya bong lips too (spring valleys are the worst) i would have to say the bubblers with long necks have to be the best one chamber bongs iv come across

I get a resin/tar stain on my tongue from pulling to many lo grade pipes, mixing tobaco can cause more tar, sometimes get some runny shit in the pipe tastes like tar,

hey man I have the exact answer! bong lips (as we call it) used to annoy the shit out of me and all my friends, until i discovered that it is caused by an imperfect seal around the mouthpiece by your lips. make sure that there is absolutely no air coming into your mouth from anywhere but through the bong, and you'll be right! hope this helps mate, cos i was fukn stoked when i found out.

we have tried to work this out for sooo long we thought it was the chemicals or the size of the bong or cone but yeh its how u pull it u cant let air get thru the sides of ur mouth.............gross bong lip hahahahahaha
