Personally i find that utter bullshit, they wont bring it in cuz that means other medical drugs will not work e.g pain killers, certain medicines.

 

Got nothing to worry about it, they couldnt bring it in even if they tried.

 

It also breaches rights too as far as i know.

If it affects the main opiate receptors, yes, but if it's a block for the pleasure reception pathways in the brain, then that could be a different matter.

 

They'd be numb, never experiencing the utter pleasure of a bite of chocolate, the joy of a cone after work, or even worse, sex would likely have little desire either, as these parts of the brain are inter-related.

The reward center is an integral part of what it means to be human IMHO, if they've invented a way to block off such "addictive" pathways....

 

As to breaching rights, of course it does, does that stop the government now? Nup.

 

Don't be surprised, they'll try. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance, not against the outside forces of the world, but from those within who would claim to be "doing it for your own good".

 

We have to fight these things with knowledge and speaking out loudly to all who hear.

OK, got a couple things to say here.

 

Not all anti-depressant drugs are bad. Technically my wife takes an antidepressant. What it does though is restore the seratonin levels in her brain to what they should be normally.

 

Don't believe that there's no way they could do this. Adding it to one of the innoculations against childhood disease that already exists would be childs play.

 

As already said by others, there's not a chance in hell I'd let any kid of mine ever get this if I knew about it. As someone who takes opiates about two months out of the year for pain relief (I'm on synthetics the other 10 months) I wouldn't dare take the chance that this would screw up a kids reaction to the same things I depend on to function daily without pain.
