Where to get GH SUbculture in Sydney?

Hi Gang, whats up?

 

I was looking for General Hydroponics Subculture product, but had troubles to find it so far...

 

I live in sydneys north, but atm i'm working in the west, so i'm flexible when it comes to the location of the hydrostore.

 

BTW, why is it that everytime i go into a growshop and ask specificly for one thing they are trying to sell me some of their homebrewn (probably made in the bathtub) stuff?

Because it costs them bugger all to make and they can get a massive markup on it.

carnt get imported into Australia - something about quarintine restrictions - same with GH Chi

Hay Mace how’s it going, you do know that unless you use some kind of porous medium like pumas or lava rock that the Subculture will just be flushed out every time you do a res change-out right?

 

I don’t live in Sydney but I have been growing in the Bio-Buckets for over a year now and I can tell ya, when it comes to adding Beneficial Bacterium to your hydro system you will need them the type of medium that they need in order to colonize and populate there numbers.

Don't be discouraged, i was talking about the homebrewed nutes your hydroshop is pushing not this other stuff you are interested in.

 

Get into it, i don't know anything about the stuff you are looking for, it is always interesting to see new ideas and products put to the test. Don't forget to tell us how you go. :thumbsup

Thanks for the tip BigToke! I'm running a 70L DWC tub, small netpot (5-6cm?) and i'm not planning on too many nute changes, more the topping type of guy

What do you think, would Subculture work in these conditions?

 

No worries pickle, its just amazing how much of a ripoff the hydro stores try to pull on me each time, must have the face that tells em 'He's an idiot, you can sell him anything.' If you listen long enough to some of them they are going to sell you the machine that goes 'Bing!', very expensive...
