Bored Cannabis grower Jailed

A Tasmanian man who said that he grew Cannabis to relieve boredom was jailed yeasterday for 3 months. The man who is named in the Report , but which I will omit ., Had earlier pleaded guilty to to one charge of cultivating a controlled plant and one count of stealing by dishonestly diverting Electricty. the 44 year had earlier pleaded not Guilty to a charge of, ( Get This Guys ) Possesing things intended for use in The cultivation of a controlled plant for sale. Cheif Justice Peter Underwood said the defendant, had made a considerd decision to break the law in a substantial manner. I've never heard of this in Australia before. Is that a real offence?

I mean how does the court know whether the equipment, which I assume is hydroponic, is inteneded for illegal use.

Who has to prove what? Normally the onus of guilt has to be proven not innocence.

Cause fertiliser can be used for anything?

I mean our own shit is a pretty good fertiliser does that mean if I take a dump on a seed I will get arrested for possessing things (my asshole) with the intended use blah blah blah.
