Cannabis haul

Three people have been charged after police found cannabis growing in a northern beaches house.

 

Police went to the house in Nalya Road, Narraweena, about 10.30 yesterday after three people were seen loading large garbage bags into a car boot.

 

The bags allegedly contained cannabis.

 

The trio were arrested at the scene and police searched the house, where they discovered an elaborate hydroponic set-up, other drug-making equipment and chemicals, up to 60 cannabis plants and some dry leaf.

 

A 26-year-old man was charged with possess and cultivate a prohibited drug, a 21-year-old woman was charged with possess and cultivate a prohibited drug and goods in custody and a 23-year-old woman was charged with goods in custody.

 

All three were granted conditional bail and were due to appear in Manly Local Court on February 23.
