My hole... stupid digging

Well I slaved it out and dug today. In mega shit soil, hard and clayie. Its about 125L, 4 foot long by 2 foot wide by 2 foot deep id estimate.

 

Here's a pic to help you out.

 

Now I want to fit 2 ladies in it. Do you think it is possible? Oh and I didnt line the hole with plastic. We'll see how it pan's out, but there wernt that manyn roots in the soil.

 

So yeh basically can I fit 2 ladies in there?

Plastic is a waste of time.

 

Are there termite mounds anywhere in the area? You may need to apply a chemical barrier before filling the hole with organics. Termites love the stuff you'll be filling your hole with. And they'll fuck your plants. Chlorpyrifos is an effective barrier treatment.

Chlopyrifos500..... 20ml per 10L should deter them long enough, for the current season.

Brand names.... Lorsban, Fortune500, etc (Many names for same shit)

 

1L = ~ $30. Enough to last many crops.

Bunnings used to sell it. Not sure if they still do. Too toxic for general public, or some fukn shit.

Just google "rural supplies" and your state/city. Or yellow pages. It is so common, you'll find it anywhere farm chemicals are sold.

In nsw, I cant see any termite mounds around. Ill take a punt and not use it for now. If they turn up ill go grab some..
