stories are saying that it was caused by graphing MH on to a hops root? IMO that cant be done.

now can anyone tell me where I can get his strain from??

That's a question for Luke but I am a little dubious about the seeds carrying any genetics from the rootstock of the grafted plant.

That's correct Tom. There will be no dna change to the growing tip at all, whatever you might be talented enough to grafted it to.

Yeah, evidently hops is the only plant that you can graft cannabis to but from what I have understood there are no real benefits to the graft and who the hell could be bothered going to all the trouble of grafting a perennial anyway.

imo graftign is a much more benificial practice when your dealign with slower growing non anual plants, MJ is a fast rooting and fast growing plant particulalry indoors , perhaos if you got your plants out late a graft coul dbe benificial as it does skip the rooting period but I would also think it would mess with the cannaboid levels of the plant l I know that alkaloids in other species need time to catcvh up after beign grafted , I have never looked into it in depth with mj though cause I heard you can only use hops and that there isn't that much you gain from it

this shit is known where I at as "Bindi" cos in a bag its like a bunch of little bindi eyes with leaf around it, and Im pretty sure it from Northern NSW... (as rgs's post seems to agree in linked thread...)...

 

I've never heard the myth it was made by hops to weed graft, I always heard the myth it was a colchicine affected mutant, but I think its all prolly untrue and its just an inbred line from a natural freak of nature...(though other strains created with colchicine like DJ's Blueberry show slight mutation.. so it alot more plausible a reason than hops graft..)

 

Emery's crew took a bunch of this to work with and hybridise with more potent strains to increase potency... they found nothing workable and gave away a small amount of free seeds with cannabis culture magazine... pretty much came out anything with potency still looked like normal dope plants, plants with ABC traits still smoked weak.. if it hadda been worth shit they woulda flogged it for all they could as the new super stealth strain...

 

Fet has a strain he calls dizzy with the same mutations he says is completely different and is actually potent and is a tropical only strain, I doubt it aint related, but Fet aint releasing those seeds. ever I assume from the sounds... maybe one day he will and it will be a potent stealth strain... but the fact a seed seller keeps it unreleased and just speaks about it when if it was potent it could make him 10000's by the demand is pretty suss imo...

It's definately an interesting looking strain it looks like it's got some low-yield traits to me (just a wild guess)

i remember reading about this strain a couple of years back at cannabis culture in their back issues (a great resource btw :thumbsup )

 

from memory the breeder was growing it everywhere and trying to cross it with northern lights and suceeded....plants were bigger, more potent and looked like cannabis :thumbdown but im sure if he worked on it for a decade or so, he coulda made it super potent and looking like the original ABC strain....
