What strain for a first time grower?

A clone is basically a part of a plant, which is cut and made to grow roots of it's own, becoming a new plant. One of the benefits of having clones is that they have exact genetic makeup of the mother plant it was taken from. So if it was a female plant, the clone will be too.

Wouldnt it die in transit?

Nope, they're sent via express post on a Monday, delivery is usually the next day. I've received a few clones via the post, no probs! :thumbsup

It's great because they're all ready to go into your system basically, and you don't have to worry about germinating them and weeding out any males

So they send u a cutting, and u just stick it in your soil mix?

You get 4 in a pack, or more if you want. And yeah, you stick them into whatever media you are using, rockwool cube and all. Just take the plastic off from around the cube before you plant it :yingyang

A little simplified, but basically yes. Though you can get clones from males too...

Do a search on cloning here at OzStoners, there's heaps of good info on it. There are ways of keeping your own 'mum' plants, and being able to supply yourself. If you get a couple of good strains, grow them out and get clones off them. Use the clones for your mums or keep the originals for mums. You eventually will have to flower your mums out when they get too bushy, takes awhile though.
