GWS is the Official Term being used for the Gulf War Syndrome, a nice present alot of us Vets recieved during the first round of the Gulf War, in 1990-91. Last speculation from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Pentagon, and Private research is that it is more than likely attributed to contamination to some or all of the following: Pesticides, Sarin Gas (Nerve Agent), Mustard Gas (another NA), other trace ammounts of NBC Agents (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare). Mixed with the antidotes we took in pill and shot forms, and other not so nice microbes in the area.
Ailments?
To name just a few, chronic fatigue, skin disorders, shortness of breat (I have pin point sized holes in my lungs and they don't fill up as they should (another hint that I digested some sort of NBC Agent( Mustard Gas eats out your lungs))). Runny bogs (everyday for 13 years now) weight gain, depression, anxiety, anger, insomnia, sore joints, nerve damage, twitchy muscles (my muscles spasm uncontrollably for short periods) 40% short term memory loss, nausea, reclusive, immune system is almost nonexistant. I get sick all the time, simple cuts become infected, bruises, too. (No, it's not AIDS)
The main reason I smoke MJ is for the depression and anxiety. My GP gives me valiums now and then, and im on a steady diet of Antidepressants and multi vitamins. The valiums don't do shit, but piss me off. For them to really have any effect on me, I need to do ~8-10 = 40-50mg. A tad more than the advised 2-4 per day. Anti Depressant is Efexor XR SR 150mg...it has helped, seeing I didnt kill a guy at work after he started a fight with me...and headbutted me in the face 3 times..i just looked at the guys trying to break us up, and said to get him away before I hurt him. So for that part, the meds work, but it doesnt help the feeling of needing to hide and get away from everyone, or wanting to dissapear when my wife or kid start talking. I get seriously bad hyperalertness, and start panicing. MJ always helps me to get back down to a normal level, and cope with everything. I havnt told my doctor that I'm smoking. Mainly because he hasn't asked how I've managed. When he does, I promised myself I would tell him...but why volunteer the info and face an ass chewing, or his dissapointing look. The guy is truely the best Doc i've ever had. I've since had to drop to Part time at work...doing 5hrs a day. And that has also helped relieve stress.
So from that, what wuld you suggest for my problems? I'm an experienced smoke, as in I know how to smoke, and never had BAD hallucination episodes (Trippy weed is very good at times) and can handle almost every thing around. I would prefer something strong, where I wouldnt smoke as much, as I'm finally trying to get back into a healthy lifestyle. And of course, something easy to grow for a newb.
