hydro nutes designed to take into account the micro nutrients of local water supplies? ::P: I want some of what you're smoking. What brand of hydro nutes are you using?

Got a source of information for purified water resulting in inferior grows? What about a source of information for the useful nutrients in tap water? has a hydro company told you they rely on nutrients found in tap water to compliment their solutions? where are you getting this stuff from?

i was going to take a sample of water into the shop to get tested... but i smoked up a fair bit before i left and even forgot to take my pawn shop reciepts which was the main reason i was going into town :P

been getting 1 gram $20 deals lately, the pot has been that good a quality either :thumbdown yesterday, one of my main dealers finally got on again, got me 2.5 grams for $40 of some new gear...fucking good shit. hell im outter cones, its been like 8 -10 hours since i stopped smoking and im still stoned :thumbsup that usually doesnt happen, i just wake up all dizzy and larthargic but im actually stoned this time :thumbsup

Good answer Luke, wish I had some of the energy you put into your replies.
i agree, luke always goes all out  :smoke

i read somewhere that some nutes are designed for tap water but not localised down to a town or anything....they just take into account on average whats in the water, the pH, etc and design their nutes around that....although 1 would assume that they would design the nutes for the plant, not the water they are going in  :scratchin
Good luck with the grow Wantdachronic, I'm sure you'll be loving it.

Oh yeah, and with the spots, you may want to be checking the leaf underside with a magnifying glass or photographers loupe, as spider mites can be so small you can't see them with the naked eye. Look directly beneath the area where the spots are, and you may well find something you didn't think was there before.

i have been loving growing since i was 14....my mum wouldnt let me grow it so it was a mission to even get a sprout growing past the nazi but the sprouts looked gorgeous so i would probably sprout a seed every couple of weeks just for decoration...eventually my mother caved in and i was allowed 1 plant, turned into like 15 (50 at one stage :whistling ) but alas i was robbed like with every other previous crop :thumbdown (except 1 but i only got like 3-4 grams from that )

last night i checked for bugs and found lil black bastards under there...well i remember seeing something tiny as, moving under the leaf, now wether that was a bug or medium im not sure as i was trashed as and when i checked but thismorning i cuoldnt find nothing... im thinking spider mites and if they are, whats the best way to kill the cunts off, prevent them from coming back and doing the same for any other potential bastards like them? i want a bug free zone :P i know i gotta get a sticky pad with poison on it eventually but in the mean time is there a cheapish spray or anything i can use to kill these bastards off??? i heard if u boil chillies and garlic in water, let it soak for 3 days then strain off the water and spray that on your plants it'll kill alot of nasties and make the grow room smell very interesting :scratchin

buy some Neem oil mate and give them a misting. make sure you also get under the leaf.

neem is systemic so they wont eat the plant for long before dying, and in the mean time Neem prevents any new ones, until the others die.

predators are good, but what happens when they run out of food?? :scratchin

those predator mites sound like the stuff to get...

the plants are looking a bit bad compared to like 2-3 days ago, i have ripped off a bad leaf and found tiny white eggs under the spots so from what i have gathered i have spider mites :thumbdown

$10 will probably be my limit untill next fortnight :thumbdown already spent $70 this fortnight on the system, cant really afford much more being on the dole :P so if there is anything thats cheap and will work im all for it :P otherwise i just hope they can hold on for another 2 weeks...

great news though, i have a fan blowing from the bathroom into the bedroom :thumbsup may not sound like much but its blowing that much fresh air into the wardrobe that it aint funny :smoke room is about 2 degrees cooler again and takes heaps longer to heat up :thumbsup average temp while light is on is about 25-30 depending on how warm it is outside (yesterday was like 40 outside and the wardrobe was like 27 :smoke whole room about 30) when the light is off the whole room including the wardrobe is about 20 degress......

now once these bugs shoo away, all my problems will be taken care of and i can donate a few clones for a competition or something....im thinking i will be able to take 3 cuttings that i will be able to donate in about 2 weeks depending on how this bug problem goes :thumbsup im not going to share spider mites around so they'll have to die off, eggs too before i send anything off....any ideas for a comp anyone :smoke ?
