What’s going on here?

Recommended Posts

Bought 10 feminised seeds from a bank.

All same strain.

4 germinated but one was shorter and had red stem

Plants ABC all look similar and healthy

Plant D looks strange and stringy and most leaves have 3 fingers

Doesn’t look male but I’m not sure

If it is male I want to get rid of it

Check it out see what you guys think

You have white flies , been a bad few yrs for them , the weather is perfect for them to breed

They on my current indoors , won't affect size or quality as long as you keep them restrained , yellow sticky pads below and above , at night they'll get caught on traps

You won't kill them all and you really can't prevent either

Is that white spot on the leaves?

How do I get rid of them?

Yes, the spots on the leaves. I use eco oil, some people use neem preparation (there is some debate over the potential toxicity of neem).

If, as micmac  thinks, it's white fly (you'll see clouds of them lifting from the plant if you brush the leaves), eco oil will also solve the problem. Spray the plants, both sides of the leaves, during the cool of morning. Repeat every 3 days for a total of 3-4 sprayings.

i think the debate you mention Lu is more about the chemical extraction of azadirachtin from neem

rather than cold press extraction of oil from neem seed itself

because azadirachtin comes from neem they both have been tarred with the same brush unfortunately

definitely no problem using organic neem oil or the neem seed meal imho
