Which HPS for me

So your footprint is only 60cm x 70cm. My 250w light happily did a 80 x 50cm footprint. Harvested today, so I dont yet know the dry weight.

 

If you do get a 400w light, get good ventilation.

 

To reasonably accurately calculate the venting you will need, go to the Indoor Growing subforum in the Aussie ganga grow guide & look for a thread about venting requirements for HID lights.

Dont skimp on ventilation, you will regret it!!!

 

If you plan this growroom well, you wont be spending a fortune modifying it! :thumbsup

Hey mate. Just go bigger than you think is neccesary for your venting and you won't have a prob. It's one area of growing that's really hard to over-do. How well sealed is the space and how stealth do you have to go? i'd go for a bubbling bucket/dwc set-up first time. So simple, relatively quiet and forgiving. I've had 400ws in cupboards and the first time round I had a shitload of problems, mostly my doing and I still managed to get a fair result. Once sorted though they are great sytem and yield really well.
