My first grow rocked

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,, i think its my first post..

Anyway im sort of new to growing,, doing it for the 2nd time.. I only had 2200W.. 4 lights. 4 plants, and i didnt recycle the nutes, but i got 6 pound off them with only 5wks grow and 7 bud(i did use superbud).. I tied them down when young so they had multiple heads. my room is about 12ft X 12ft X 8ft. But i used a huge extraction fan with carbon filter and ran it 24/7. Induction was just a hole in the floor boards then a pedastool fan to circulate. Air from the floor was icy cold even on 38C days.

None of my experiance growing buddies could believe it as they used the same strain and nutes. They could only put it down to my ventilation.

By the way i used Dutchmaster Original A and B

" " Advanced Flower A and B

" " " Superbud

" : " Potash +

ventilation does seem to be the most important thing,i have been growing for a year with my 600whps(before that a 400whps) and only getting like 70grams of weed each cycle as i never had a inlet fan and exaust fan just had one blowing around in the room. Since i added them i have increased by yield to 250grams and im looking at up uping the power of my fans again.

hey,

Ventillation is a major thing people overlook and is one of the cheapest things you can add to a grow but the main thing to remember when growing is you need a happy medium overall. If theres one thing missing your going to have problems... Plants will adapt to almost any conditions but if you have all the basics you should do fairly well.. The best thing to do is stick to what you know and try to improve/research on one thing otherwise youll be chasing your arse and not knowing what helps and what hinders...

that's a massive result Charlie sounds like you really nailed it! what type of system did you use and what strain mate? great work.

Stonedas your on the money man focusing on one improvement/mod at a time is the best way and often changes take a day or 2 to really affect your plants so being patient helps as well.
