I have had them take anywhere from overnight to pop in the paper, to over a week.

 

Just wait, and maybe chuck your other beans in the paper as well. Just in case.

Thats what I'm thinking mate. checked em this morning, seven nights later, still only with with a slight split and white-ish showing through, whilst the other one has done nothing.

 

Bought seeds, received a week ago, from Attitude, so you'd think the beans were ok?

 

Whats the ceiling, number of days wise, before scrapping em and dropping two more?

Plant them in your medium and they pop , by the sounds of it , one cracked and showing white slit ?

Nothing wrong with germing a few and only picking what look like the strongest ones after a couple of weeks to keep growing. Toss out the weakest. I've had times when they've all popped but some had unusual growth traits.

Learn to clone as well. I shoukd have learnt that earlier.

Yes. But no sign of a taproot. Never done the paper towel / Ziplock before, but all the pix have the taproot showing before hitting the medium( in my case soil )

 

Drop it in the soil?

Put em in two small pots and into the tent, light high, 18/6.
