Lights too close or something else?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I have been growing Amnesia haze autofem which is in its 8th week since germination and is nowhere near flowering(I feel the seed wasn't auto). Anyways, I was giving my plant some LST training a couple of days ago and ended up twisting and slightly snapping one of the lower branch(Rookie mistake). My plant went into shock/stress which is quite visible however, as it was getting quite cold in the last 2 days I got the grow light (250W HPS) a bit closer to the plant and as my plant was pretty stressed out so I wanted to give it some time but when I checked the plant today leaves were a bit droopy and saw one of the leaf became kinda crunchy and there is a bit of Browning of the leaf, I feel like I might have gotten it too close which resulted in heat stress/burn? This is my first grow so, I do understand that I will make mistakes but I just want to learn so don't make them again in future. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.c2878741dd4379fbfc3a6904b4baee80.jpgd866c991f9c6330f125db66c1ddd377b.jpg0804cd1ed8e47b401383c073457144ff.jpg

Perhaps just a little burn, make sure the light isn't too close and monitor. Might've compounded the initial stress a little but will bounce back. Take care in terms of overwatering at the moment and hold off nutes until you see some positive change or lack of progression of the problem
