Seed Hoarding

Just wondering who else out there is a seed hoarder or "collector" as I tell the missus

yep I'm guilty of continually adding to my collection

Hahaha I just planted all my older seeds as I was worried if I left em any longer they wouldn’t germ. Some were 5 years old. They all germed as well. [emoji23][emoji23]

So yes I do hoard them but not for too long.

Them are young 'ens ... I've got some 12yr old C99 beans that are still popping in 3-4 days

Think it comes down to storage, store em properly seeds can last very long times.

I keep them in a zip lock bag inside an empty plastic vitamin bottle with a couple of silica gel desiccant packets in a Tupperware container in the fridge. Probably overkill but seems to work a treat. I just wish I could pop more of the collection

Yeah mate ya popping 12 year old seeds so its working well.

Ill copy ya if i find something i want to save for ages.
