Rising Ph

15min on/ 15min off is 2 long for aeroponics (in regards to misting) you will most likely get some root rot and mister blocking.(IMHO)

You can buy a increment timer from most hydroponics store, they have two dials, one for pump on and on for pump off in 1 minute intervals.

Aeroponics is really trickly to get right, but can have really explosive growth when you do.

some things that can cause you trouble-

1) root rot - caused by a few things, watering times not correct, resi temp set to high 19 degress, virus and diease (run a sterile tank).

2)blocking up of misters - to long between misting (salt creep)

3)using organic ferts - only run a sterile tank (using chems)or you will have trouble.

4)varying levels of ph and ec - you really have to watch this because everything happens so fast in a aero system - check once or twice a day.

5)equipment plays a big part - you need a high pressure pump with a psi pressure switch/gauge and at least a 40litre pressurised reserve tank so your pump is not cutting in and out all the time

Once you have got used to growing aero you will never go any other way - nothing beats it for yeild and speed.

I have seen a good setup using aeroponics and yea the growth is awesome, :reallyexcited:

yea been there tried that :P.

I had two bucket setups done by the book and also a few thread on buckets confirmed i was doing things right.

I couldnt get the plants to grow, when they did they looked really unhappy.

I only had plants in them for about 4 weeks and then threw them out, as I got very little growth and the noise of the airpumps was driving me nuts.
