Advice on LED lights (genuinely 600W HID equivalents).

Nice work bro.

Your setup is rocking.

Doesn't matter how many fat colas HLG's grow.

Some will still want to chew double the wattage with hallides just because it makes then feel good. [emoji38]

Something wrong with these champ???

All well over 600mm. [emoji13]attachicon.gif20200328_092334.jpegattachicon.gif20200328_092307.jpegattachicon.gif20200328_092231.jpegattachicon.gif20200328_092257.jpeg

back on topic.......

spider farmer sf4000 = same par ppfd level as 1000w hps while only running at 450w

https://growace.com/blog/why-is-par-rating-a-big-deal-for-indoor-grow-light-systems/

https://www.spider-farmer.com/collections/frontpage/products/sf-4000-led-grow-light

as with all quantum board LED's with no heat sink might be wise to add a 6mm flat sheet of aluminium as an extra heat sink, reason being the hotter leds get will shorten life with some reduced par levels after a year. (various led's tested out on the migrow utube for a yr)

i've got a sf600 planned for small mothers and clone/seedlings, sf1000 planned for veg before outdoor ( might even flower with it at 12 inches ) all sitting in their boxes waiting for my closet build to commence

so while only comparing ppfd/watt ratio with most on the market the spider farmer range seems to be on top.
