Need to decarb, converts THCA to THC (what burning does when you smoke it)

 

120c for 20min, keep an eye on it, dont let it burn/start smoking

Sugar and cocoa bind well with water, yet canna butter doesn't. lecithin can be used to remedy this issue. ... As well as this, lecithin known to be a surfactant, a compound that lowers surface tension. This fact means that lecithin  helps to distribute THC and cannabinoids more

Thanks man, when I googled it, I managed to spell it wrong. I will look into it more, but no harm in adding it if it's not some massively expensive stuff.

If your gonna be cooking your butter in a slow cooker, there is no need to de-carb before hand, as it will happen in the cooking process.

Have made plenty of batches with and without the first decarb and I cannot tell the difference.. some people might though?

Pick a breezy day for it. 
An 8 hour slow cook can really linger through the neighbourhood on a still day.

 

Even the decarb will stink the house out. No hiding it. .

Yeah, those magic butter machines look the goods. No guesswork, no pressing the the plant material with a ricer .

 

Last time I cooked it in the slow cooker it wasn't to stinky. Might try the de carb first this time, see if it is any different.

never tried oil in it just butter how does it go ?

Yeah. Keen to know if they are really worth the coins?do they use all the material, or is there a bit more waste compared to doing it manually? Or do they extract more than doing it yourself?
