New study into flushing

Recommended Posts

Here is a little experiment for you lot

try growing ya DWC, recirculating, RTW or Areo, with out changing the res or having fluids running out the bottom of the pot, I.E. no run off at all

use all the fresh water you want during the grow/flower

let me know how ya go, put a pic of your plant up, lets have a look at it

Not sure if you noticed but I only changed my reservoir once in flower and absolutely zip through veg.... They stopped uptaking nutes in the last week and half / two weeks. Ec stayed at 0.6 for days just topping with plain water and then decided to flush completely with 0 EC water at the end.

I think I get what you're getting at Pedro, I'll use mine as an example. Rdwc no res change start to finish, purely out of laziness. She looked good to begin with but absolute shit at harvest, never seemed to want to finish and kept throwing white hairs all whilst the leaves kept dying. Even using just plain water did not stop it going downhill. There were salts caked onto the sides of the buckets, should have taken a pic. I've seen other peoples' plants at harvest with zero burn, not even tips, and just the nice fade. I'd like to get to that one day, so I think I've learnt my lesson.post-65214-158087148729_thumb.jpeg
