Leaf curling

Recommended Posts

hi, i also have leaf curl downwards with brown specks on the top leaves

or is it leaf burn? it's been gettin worse over the past week

i just started to flower the plants and i did a silly thing of spraying the leaves directly with female hormone

it's under a 400w hps light with peatmoss medium and i had just put in the flowering fertizaler stimulate. there also is a fan blownin accross the tops of the plants and a fluro light on one side

i cleaned the nutrient tank and added a air-stone to the nutrient tank which i didn't have before.

i tried to included a photo of the worst plant but wouldn't let me upload a 500k pic

i think it's a heat prob so i moved the light up a little more

and in case it is overwatering i reduced the watering time from 5min every 4 hours

to 2min every 4 hours

there are two plants and the one cloest to the air inlet is the healthiest plant. the sick plant is under the outlet vent, could this be the problem?

is there anything else that could be wrong and how long should the plant take to bouce back?

thanks for any help

Hi; I just went thru that but I think yours might be the hormone you applied while under lights. are the spots round like a drop of water. And the bad one next to the outlet can be too hot when you sprayed it. Im not sure about this mabey someone else with more exp. will jump in on this.

good luck :thumbsup

could this be a heat problem?

it's summer here and the grow room temp goes from about 30 degress to 40 degress in one day

the plant is a apollo 13 x wonderberry cross plant

my last crop i had a plant that went all wilty and sick during flowering peroid. it turned out to be a male. and i concluded it was sick cause of the female hormone

i was appling to it

but i'm sure that this crop is both females

any ideas? :scratchin

i just flushed the sick plant,

and it is so crook that the water pressure from the

hose itself blow or broke most of the leaves off

i don't believe it's root rot, the roots don't stink

could be overwatering though

i'll pretty much stop watering today and see what there like tomorrow

You're using straight tap water? :scratchin I'd say PH, and if you have a nute lockout, flushing with non-ph adjusted water will probably make your problem worse. You need to check your PH levels, and use PH adjusted water to give them a flush.

I don't have any experience in applying hormones to plants, so I wouldn't disclude that from being a factor in your problem.
